Open window detection: what is it?

The electronic sensors in the ViCare radiator thermostat detect when the room temperature drops sharply. At this moment, all radiator thermostats close the heating valves and the heat transfer is stopped in this room for 30 minutes. You, therefore, don't have to worry about losing too much energy when ventilating your home. If you left the window open, you will be notified via the ViCare app with the note: “An open window has been detected. All thermostats are automatically closed to save energy." On the home screen next to the temperature on the tile room you will find a small warning icon .
