When do I need ViCare Repeater?

Please remember to install and operate the device as intended, exclusively in conjunction with the electronic control units and controllers of the supported Viessmann heat and power generators:

• Funk -operated radio repeater helps to increase the radio range and operation in radio-critical areas

• If there are many walls and concrete ceilings, and if the diagonal intersection is not too pronounced, the wireless repeater can be fitted at the midway point of the transmission path

• Do not use more than one wireless repeater per Vitotronic control.

Hint: Communication interface (separately or in the controller) is required on the heat generator.

 

The commissioning should be performed in the following order:
1) Heat generator / coordinator
2) Repeater
3) End devices (e.g. eTRV)
