Mounting the radiator thermostat valve

Before dismantling the old radiator actuator, the valve must be opened wide. Detailed steps for mounting the radiator thermostat are as follows:

Step 1. Turn the actuator to the highest level, depending on the type of actuator. 

Step 2. Insert the batteries. Indication on the display should be as follows: "- -". It means that the delivery state is displayed. The assembly mode is active.

Step 3. Mount the radiator thermostat firmly on the connection adapter.

Step 4. Turn the thermostat valve counterclockwise and point the display A upwards out. All the controls were described in Display and control elements.

Step 5. Press button B for min. 3 seconds to close the thermostatic valve. Indication on the display:
The room temperature set-point is displayed.

Step 6. Set the desired room temperature set-point by turning the thermostatic head C.

 The radiator thermostat is ready to be added (commissioned) to your Viessmann cloud infrastructure.
