Adding an Additional Room in ViCare

ViCare allows you to add another room to extend the climate control over your entire home, should you wish. Detailed steps are as follows:

Step 1. Select the ViCare Smart Climate item from the Settings menu.

Step 2. Select “Add device”.

Step 3. Select the type of device you want to add.

Step 4. Add a room you would like to put your device in by introducing the name of the Room and choosing its type.

Step 5. After clicking the button “Save” in the top right corner of the screen, your room has been added to the system.

Room has been saved and can be found on “Your Rooms” list on the main “ViCare Smart Climate” settings screen.

Remember! Room left with no radiator thermostats will not be taken into calculation while creating a Time Program for the home.

Editing the Room

You can easily change the room name or type in ViCare with the following steps:

Step 1. Choose the room you want to edit.

Step 2. On the Room properties screen choose the room name to edit.

Step 3. Delete the old name and add the new one.

Step 4. Save all changes by clicking “Save” in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 5. To be able to edit the type of room, click on the room type row on the room properties screen.

Step 6. Choose the correct type of the room and save the changes by clicking “Save” in the top right corner of the screen.

Deleting the Room

Please note that if you remove ViCare devices from a room, especially the radiator thermostat, you will not be able to individually control the climate in the given room. Such a room should be removed from the installation completely. The steps are as follows:

Step 1. Choose the room you want to delete by clicking on its name.

Step 2. On the room properties screen click on “Delete Room”.

Step 3. Confirm choice by clicking on “Yes, delete”.

The room will be removed from your installation.
