Adding a ViCare Climate Sensor

ViCare Smart Climate allows adding a ViCare Climate Sensor to both existing and new Room within the same installation. Adding a Room is described in another section of this manual. Detailed steps for commissioning of new ViCare Climate Sensor are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Select “Add device” button on main “ViCare Smart Climate” settings screen

Step 3. Select type of control device you want to add (default for ViCare Climate Sensor)

Step 4. Choose existing Room or create a new one that you would like to put your device in

Step 5. Follow the steps described in additional visual instruction visible on the screen on how to place the battery in the device itself.

After commissioning the Climate Sensor and pairing it with the desired Room, the data measured by the device can be seen on ViCare Smart Climate dashboard. When clicking the Room tile on ViCare app dashboard, in the room view except for measured temperature, you can find the humidity value next to it.

 

Moving the ViCare Climate Sensor from one Room to another

ViCare Smart Climate allows to move both devices, the ViCare Thermostat and Climate Sensor from one Room to another already existing within the same installation. Remember! You can move only one device at a time!

Detailed steps for moving the device between Rooms are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Choose the Room from which the device will be moved

Step 3. Select the device to be moved by clicking on proper device on “Paired devices” list

Step 4. On the device information screen choose “Move to other Room” option

Step 5. Choose the Room into which the device is moved and save changes by clicking button “Save” in the top right corner of the screen. The device will be moved to the selected Room and removed from the previous one.

 

Removing the ViCare Climate Sensor

ViCare Smart Climate allows you to remove the device from the installation. Detailed steps are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Choose the Room from which device will be removed

Step 3. Select device to be removed by clicking on proper device on “Paired devices” list

Step 4. On the information screen choose “Remove climate sensor” option

Step 5. Confirm choice by clicking on “Yes, delete” button

The device will be removed from the installation. Choosing option “No” has no effect on the installation nor on the device. Remember! You can remove only one device at a time!
