Adding a radiator thermostat

ViCare Smart Climate allows adding a second and subsequent radiator thermostats to both existing and new Room within the same installation. Adding a Room is described in another section of this manual: Operations on a Room. Detailed steps for commissioning new radiator thermostat are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Select “Add device” button on main “ViCare Smart Climate” settings screen

Step 3. Select type of control device you want to add (default for radiator valve: “Radiator Thermostat”)

Step 4. Choose the existing Room or create a new one that you would like to put your device in

Step 5. Choose the heating circuit according to the number of heating circuits your heating device is operating on. If you have only one heating circuit active, you will not see this screen. If you are using the Stand Alone version of ViCare Smart Climate, you will not see this screen.

Step 6. Follow the steps described in commissioning section to add radiator thermostat to the system

Moving the radiator thermostat from one Room to another

ViCare Smart Climate allows to move both devices, the Thermostat and Climate Sensor from one Room to another already existing within the same installation. Remember! You can move only one device at a time!

Detailed steps for moving the device between Rooms are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Choose the Room from which the device will be moved

Step 3. Select the device to be moved by clicking on proper device on “Paired devices” list

Step 4. On the device information screen choose “Move to other Room” option

Step 5. Choose the Room into which the device is moved and save changes by clicking button “Save” in the top right corner of the screen. The device will be moved to the selected Room and removed from the previous one.

Removing the radiator thermostat

ViCare Smart Climate allows you to remove the device from the installation. Detailed steps are as follows:

Step 1. Select “ViCare Smart Climate” item from Settings items list

Step 2. Choose the Room from which device will be removed

Step 3. Select device to be removed by clicking on proper device on “Paired devices” list

Step 4. On the information screen choose “Remove thermostat” option

Step 5. Confirm choice by clicking on “Yes, delete” button

The device will be removed from the installation. Choosing option “No” has no effect on the installation. When you remove your last device, ViCare Smart Climate will be deactivated automatically.

Remember! You can remove only one device at a time!
