Within ViCare you will need to set a new Time Program for each room where you have installed the devices.
Setting Time Programs
In ViCare you now see each of the rooms you created, each with their own Time Program. Each room is represented by a tile with a temperature value displayed – it is a temperature read from the ViCare Thermostat in the room (an average of temperatures measured for one room, if there are more than one ViCare Thermostat).
When clicking on the room tile, you enter the room settings area and the same temperature value is displayed. You can change the temperature value by scrolling it up or down.
In order to create your first Time Program, please click on the “Time program” button in the lower part of the screen. It will open the “Time program” setting page where two values of temperature are to be defined by clicking the “New time phase” button:
- Normal temperature which is considered as a proper temperature of comfort when you are at home
- Reduced temperature which is considered as a temperature suitable for the time of sleep or when you are away
There can be up to four time phases added for each day and for each room to optimize your comfort. The Time Programs can differ between days and rooms.
Remember! Your heating device will be operating at the highest normal temperature as well as reduced temperature in order to ensure proper heating for the comfort you expect.
Copying Time Program between different days
In the Time Program options for each room on the ViCare dashboard you can now copy the Time Program from one day to any other. After creating one Time Program for the first day, as explained above, now you are able to select this day and copy the Time Program to chosen days of the week according to your needs.
Copying Time Program between different Rooms
In the Time Program options for each you can now copy Time Programs from one room to any other. After creating one Time Program for the first room, as explained above, now you are able to copy the Time Program to any other room chosen according to your needs. Temperature values may be copied as well or you can set the temperature values separately and differently for each room.
In the Time Program options for each room you can now see the Time Assistant option. Choosing this option allows you to configure Time Programs for all your rooms at home according to your lifestyle and daily routine. You can choose the temperatures you feel comfortable with as well as the reduced value of temperatures for when you are away from home or asleep. With Time Assistant, you are able to create Time Programs only for one room or same for all – according to your needs. After choosing which room(s) you would like to create a Time Program for, set the temperature values for when you are at home and away/sleeping.
The Time Assistant will put those temperature values in the days and time slots chosen by you in the next steps. After setting up the entire Time Program, you may continue setting it for other days or finish the setup and configure the rest of the days in the other time.
